Jamaluddin School is a government primary school which is the second primary school opened in Male’, the capital of Maldives. The school was inaugurated on 16th of February 1985 by the President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom. The school is named after the famous religious scholar Mohamed Jamaluddin, better known as Vaadhoo Dhanna Kaleyfaanu. Jamaluddin was fortunate to shift to a complete new building with modern facilities in the year 2000.

The aim of the school is to bring out the individuality of each child so that they can realize their potential with self-discipline and respect. Jamaluddin is proud to have one of the most outstanding, experienced and support staff in the Maldives. Their dedication and loyalty is beyond expectation.
